About the Role

The Junior Internal Auditor will execute a range of audit engagements, providing independent and objective insights into operational, financial, and compliance risks across Assuria. This position is ideal for driven individuals eager to grow within a supportive environment that values expertise, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit engagements, focusing on assessing risks and evaluating the design and effectiveness of controls.
• Deliver well-documented, high-quality audit reports that align with professional standards.
• Analyze business functions, insurance products, and processes, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage engagements effectively to ensure timely completion within budgeted hours.
• Proactively contribute to the development of audit methodologies and techniques.
• Collaborate with the internal audit team to achieve departmental goals and deliver maximum value to the organization.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Management Studies (or equivalent).
• Professional Development: Willingness to pursue relevant qualifications such as RA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
• A team player with a detail and service-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Attributes: Integrity, professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to travel when required.
